SUPUZZ entered the children’s category with a kids’ stool. Today, our original coral, ice and dinosaur building toys take that story into a different part of a child’s day: making something, changing it, and deciding what happens next.

The link between those products is a design question: how can a simple object become something children want to use again? For a stool, the starting point is a child’s everyday space. For a building toy, it is a connection that can lead to many different creations.

Our Coral Reef, Icy World and Dinosaur Jungle collections grew from expanding the idea of flower-stem building toys. They share compatible stems, while the coral and ice bases can connect to each other. A child can begin with one scene and let it grow into another.

A kids’ stool opened the door to the children’s world

Our entry point was children’s seating. A stool belongs to ordinary moments: sitting down to draw, gathering around a table, or finding a place of your own. It put SUPUZZ in a category where products become part of family life.

Moving into toys gave us another way to serve that space. Furniture helps create a place for an activity; a toy gives a child something to do there. Our children’s seating story and our building collections are different expressions of that same focus on children’s everyday experience.

Flower-stem building toys became coral, ice and dinosaur worlds

A flower-stem building toy offers a useful starting idea: place a stem on a base, add shapes, and build upward. We saw room to extend that idea beyond a flower garden. A branching form could become coral. A stack of shapes could suggest an icy landscape. Plants could become the setting for a dinosaur adventure.

That is the origin of our three collections. Each has its own visual identity, while the shared building approach gives children a familiar way to start.

  • Coral Reef: branching coral forms and sea creatures turn stem building into an underwater scene.
  • Icy World: winter shapes and characters bring the same building idea into a snowy setting.
  • Dinosaur Jungle: dinosaurs, plants and flowers give children a prehistoric world to arrange and explore.

The theme gives the first build a direction. After that, children can change the layout, move a character, or combine ideas to tell their own story.

Universal stems, and coral and ice bases that connect

The flower-stem pieces across these SUPUZZ collections are interchangeable. A stem does not have to stay in the theme it came from. Children can move it between their coral, ice and dinosaur builds, then arrange a different scene around it.

Coral Reef and Icy World bases can also pair with one another. That connection is part of the design, giving the two landscapes a way to meet. A coral garden can extend toward an icy shore, or a winter scene can open into an ocean world.

For a child who owns more than one collection, familiar pieces become useful in a new setting. The next set adds possibilities to the earlier one. Our mixed-world building ideas explore ways to turn that compatibility into play.

A new kind of building play for girls and boys

Flowers, coral, ice and dinosaurs belong to a wide field of curiosity. These toys are designed for girls and boys to explore, with room for different interests in the same collection.

One child may enjoy arranging colors and branching shapes. Another may want to give every dinosaur a home. A third may bring the ocean and snow together in a place that exists only in their imagination. All of those approaches fit the toy.

When children build together, they can contribute different ideas: one arranges the landscape, another chooses where the characters go, and another invents the story. The shared connections give them a way to combine their work.

Take the building worlds to the beach or a water table

SUPUZZ’s building toys can also come along for beach play and complement a water table. A coral scene has an especially natural place beside water, while ice and dinosaur pieces can give the setting a different story.

At a water table, use the building pieces as a movable scene: arrange a reef, add characters, and make room for the next adventure. At the beach, build a small world beside a sand landscape. The table or shoreline becomes a setting for the toy, rather than the end of the activity.

Try these simple play invitations:

  1. A reef beside the water: arrange coral and sea creatures, then decide who lives in each part of the scene.
  2. An icy coast: connect coral and ice bases to make two neighboring landscapes, with a journey between them.
  3. A dinosaur shoreline: use interchangeable stems to add plants to a dinosaur scene beside a sand or water play area.

These are ideas for using the toys alongside a beach setting or water table. The shared connections are between SUPUZZ building pieces; no attachment to a particular water-table brand is required for these activities.

Our approach to a toy children want to revisit

Making a standout toy starts with an idea children can understand and leaves enough room for them to make it their own. For SUPUZZ, three choices bring that approach together:

  • Start with a recognizable way to build. The flower-stem idea gives children a place to begin.
  • Expand it into distinctive worlds. Coral, ice and dinosaurs offer different characters, shapes and stories.
  • Keep the worlds connected. Shared stems and matching coral and ice bases let a later idea use pieces from an earlier build.

A new arrangement gives a toy another turn in the child’s day. The setting can change too—from a play table at home to a water table or a day at the beach. That is the kind of ongoing use our design story is about.

Questions about SUPUZZ building toys

How did SUPUZZ start in the children’s category?

SUPUZZ began with kids’ stools, then expanded into children’s products including our original coral, ice and dinosaur building collections.

What inspired the coral, ice and dinosaur sets?

They grew from extending the flower-stem building concept into new environments: an underwater reef, a winter world and a dinosaur landscape.

Can the SUPUZZ collections be combined?

Yes. The flower-stem pieces are interchangeable across these collections, and the Coral Reef and Icy World bases connect to each other. Sets are sold separately; check each product page for its contents.

Are these toys for girls or boys?

Both. Children can choose what interests them—colors, plants, sea creatures, winter scenes or dinosaurs—and build in their own way.

Can they be used with a water table or at the beach?

Yes. They can accompany beach play and be used as building scenes with a water table. These activities use the toys alongside the play area and do not rely on a proprietary connection to the table.
